Day 4
It was another long day today. About 26 miles walking, and elevation gain over 3,500 feet. Tomorrow will definitely be shorter as we are growing weary at this pace. Short post tonight for the same reason!
We walked as far as Larrabetzu, number 7 on the map.
We walked through a city called Gernika-Lumo. Famous because it was the sad inspiration for a Picasso paining. Behind us is an outdoor copy of the art. Germany had bombed this city in late 1930s.
Beef, it’s what was for dinner for Keith

Bilbao on the horizon… should be a treat. As before the geography is stunning. Carry on pilgrims til mañana. Laurie B
