More scenery

Some of the sights we have seen on days 4 and 5.

Sometimes there are fences along the trail. Usually there is an easy way through, like this V shapes side passage. Other times it is an easy to pen gate.

  Various plants

The grounds of a church and monastery near Ziortza Bolibar.

This chair was setting along the trail, no visible reason why this would be here!

We see quite a lot of bamboo.

There are a lot of water fountains, so we are able to drink when we need to. Many are utilitarian, this one had some artistic flare.

This is a type of Eucalyptus. The leaves are very fragrant. Some fellow walkers from Australia told us they are native to that country.

Modern art with rocks. We have seen this a few times. Ideas forming for our front yard…

The Holly and The Ivy

A man was sitting next to a box of tomatoes along the trail. These were fresh and delicious!

Mystery berries. No, we did not eat.

That is us on a stone bridge, photo courtesy of a couple from Estonia.

  2. Really enjoying following your progress. Thanks for sharing. I believe the mystery berries are called Italian Arum (looked it up on Picture This). Apparently poisonous and a skin irritant.

  3. The chair was for a bit of respite.
